Delivery & Terms & Conditions

All sales made either direct or by accessing the Mirror Trim (www.mirrortrim.co.uk) website you confirm you have read and understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. Orders made via Mirror Trim website is subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse your order at our discretion at anytime and for any reason without explaination.

All our products are made individually to our own specification and high standards and dispatched within 10-14 days. Although most items are dispatched within a week as we have a good stock holding. In some instances delivery could take up to 28 Days but you will be notified about this. We will only send fully completed orders. In the unlikely event of supply difficulties the option of either changing or canceling the order will be yours.

Delivery within the United Kingdom

All orders under 1kg are charged at £4.25 delivery.

For multiple parcels or weighing over 1kg will be charged on the weight of the consignment and displayed and calculated before checkout process.

Delivery to Remote Areas

The Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and other off shore and remote areas will be subject to a surcharge as required by our couriers. We will notify you of any remote charges upon confirmation of your order and the additional charges will be added to your invoice.

Delivery Overseas

Because of the many different carriage costs to overseas countries outside europe we can only fully calculate your costs when we have received your order. We will then advise you of this carriage cost. Remote area surcharges may apply in some locations both UK and worldwide, we will notify you of these and any surcharges due will require payment before goods are dispatched.

Special or Additional Despatch

Any special despatch arrangements to or from ourselves made at the customers request will be chargeable.

Missing or Damaged Goods

Any claim for damaged goods must be made within 48hrs of delivery.Any claim after this time will not be accepted. Once your item has arrived please check to ensure it has reached you in good condition and note any damage or loss with the delivery driver. All damages, loss or incorrect goods must be notified to us within 48hrs.Only claims presented within this time will be accepted. Should you need further time for any reason whatsoever you must notify us of this on the day of delivery.

Payment, Debit/Credit Cards

Payment can be made via Debit & Credit Card by calling :01525 874858 or Paypal, Cheque, Postal Order or Cash on collection unless alternative arrangements are agreed. Goods will not be dispatched unless payment is made in full and are cleared funds. Debit & Credit Cards are also accepted via Paypal without holding a Paypal account.

Basis for sale

Nothing contained in the website constitutes an offer and Mirror-Trim reserves the right to revise or withdraw the website and other material at anytime prior to their acceptance of the buyer’s order. No material or information of any nature whatsoever contained in the website or otherwise communicated to the buyer, other than these conditions shall form part of the conditions governing the contract. Mirror-Trim shall not be liable for any advice given to the buyer as to the application or use of the goods unless such advice is confirmed in writing by Mirror-Trim.

It shall be the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that the Goods are suitable for their intended purpose.

All goods are manufactured to our own specification.

All written quotations are valid for a period of 60 days, after which current standard list price on the date of sale will apply.

In the event a customer wishes to cancel their order, they must inform Mirror Trim in writing within seven days of receipt of the goods by either e-mailing us with the subject “Order Cancellation” or sending a letter to us FAO Web Sales, Ref Order Cancellation at the addess supplied below.

VAT

Prices are displayed including VAT. Value Added Tax will be shown at the current UK rate of 20% (Where Applicable) and shown in your shopping cart before checkout.

VAT is not charged on goods dispatched to countries outside of the EU. However, such orders are often subject to local import duty, taxes and Customs clearance, which MUST be paid by you at the port of entry. These charges are not included in the cost of the goods or delivery prices.

Samples

Styles & colours may vary from the images shown on the website. To ensure the suitability for your requirements please send a self addressed envelope with a large letter stamp attached before placing an order to enable us to send you a sample. Cut lengths are subject to a 20% handling fee if returned and will be non refundable if the length has been cut or altered in any way. Whilst we endevor to provide colours close to the original, we cannot however guarantee an exact match. To ensure satisfaction always request a sample prior to purchase.

Exchange Units

We are able to offer a full rebuild service on some products in our range. We offer this service as an alternative to direct replacement parts, or when a brand new item is no longer available. However, the continuity of this exchange scheme needs the understanding and co-operation of our customers in relation to several important points:

It is important to understand that 'rebuilt,exchange' does not mean 'brand new'. Rebuilding a unit involves

stripping,cleaning, inspecting and re-assembly of the original unit. During this process, parts showing signs of wear will be either completely replaced or suitably renovated. However it is not always feasible for major sub components to be replaced with brand new ones. For example an exchange seat will not have a complete new headrest should it require replacement.A renovated unit will be used.

Due to the nature and age of certain products items can only be offered on a "one for one" exchange basis. This effectively means that you must offer us a viable unit before we can release a fully rebuilt item.In some instances we can only carry out reconditioning of your own parts.Our staff will inform you if this is the case. All exchange units are subject to a surcharge. This surcharge serves two purposes; firstly, it acts as an incentive for you to return your old unit, and secondly it provides us with financial cover if your returned unit proves unsuitable for exchange purposes. Whether or not your returned unit is suitable for exchange cannot be ascertained until it is made available to us for inspection. As a general rule, suitable for exchange basically excludes any items that are beyond reasonable repair (e.g. heavy rust and decay, seized mechanisims and bent frames or are irrevocably damaged. We are also unable to accept parts unless they are returned in whole, complete form (i.e.if headrests are missing etc nor do we accept a "box of bits". Surcharges will only be refunded once our parts department has passed the item as serviceable. We have predetermined prices for our exchange units based on our experience, and what it will cost to repair. Occasionally, however, the damage to the unit is so great that we will contact you before beginning work on your parts, to advise you of any additional cost that may be incurred during the rebuild .We can return the unit (at your cost) if this proves unacceptable.

Customs & Import Duties

Mirror Trim does not and will not accept any charges made in respect of import or customs duties whatsoever arising from orders delivered by Mirror Trim to any country. This cost must be borne by you the customer. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

You are the importer of any such goods and as such must comply with laws and regulations within your country..Mirror Trim will not accept responsibility or issue credit for items seized by customs service of any country. Any goods rejected at the port of entry and returned to us will be subect to return charges payable by the customer, further any re-sending of the goods will be charged at the prevailing rate at the time of shipping. Goods will be held until such charges are paid in full.

Returns Policy

7 Day Money Back Guarantee


We hope you will be completely satisfied with any purchase made from us,However, you have 7 days from the receipt of your goods to return them to us for a refund. We have tried to make it as easy as possible to return items to us, but there are a few rules to follow which are shown below.

• You have 7 days from the date you receive your goods to return them to us. No returns after this date will be accepted. • All new goods must be returned to us in an unused, unworn and saleable condition. This means any tags must still be attached and all must be intact with no cuts or tears. If we cannot re-sell the item, then we cannot accept it back for a refund.

• The postage paid on your order is NON-REFUNDABLE. You are responsible for sending the goods back to us at your own expense. We encourage you to send by an insured and traceable method, otherwise it will be at your own risk.

• Please indicate whether you require a refund or exchange. Refunds are made back to the same way as when the order was placed. If you require an exchange, then we will charge our standard postage rate to to send out the replacement goods.

• We aim to process all refunds within 30 days of receipt of your returned goods.

• This guarantee applies to mail order purchases only. Any returned items that do not meet the above terms will not be accepted and will be returned to you with an additional postage amount charged. Restrictions
Specially ordered goods may not be cancelled or returned unless damaged in transit or faulty. These are goods that have been made to the customers' specification and include all "made to order" trim parts and customers own units supplied for reconditioning. Non-stocked parts which have to be specially ordered are also non-returnable. Once Mirror Trim has received the order a 7 working days cooling off period will be given to the customer before the order is placed with our supplier. Once the order has been placed with the supplier the customer cannot cancel the order and no refund will be given. Should the customer wish to opt out of the seven day cooling-off period so as not to delay the order, this must be done in writing.

Shortages must be reported in writing within 7 working days. All goods should be examined immediately upon receipt for shortages, damage or faults, as your warranty period begins the day of receipt. Where items are returned and are free from defect and fall outside the 7 day returns policy Mirror Trim will only issue a credit note for the goods providing they meet the terms of return and are fit for resale. A 20% restocking fee will apply in all cases.

All Drawings, photographs,illustrations,advertisements,particulars and descriptive matter supplied by Mirror Trim are intended to present a general idea of the goods described therein but are not binding and are subject to variation.Computer Graphic Images (CGI) represents an "example" and should not be relyed upon as an accurate representation of a product. Liability

Where any valid claim in respect of any of the goods which is based on a breach of the warranty is notified to Mirror-Trim within the warranty period,Mirror-Trim shall be entitled to repair or replace the goods (or the part in question) free of charge or, at Mirror-Trim's discretion, refund to the buyer the price of the goods (or a proportionate part of the price). Subject to the conditions set out ,

Mirror-Trim warrant that the goods will correspond with our specification or, if there is no such specification then the goods will be within normal limits of industrial quality, at the time of delivery and will be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of 3 months from the date of delivery of the goods to the buyer. Mirror-Trim shall be under no liability in respect of any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, neglect, failure to follow Mirror-Trim instructions where given.

When you order parts and accessories from our website, we need to know your name, registered postal address, contact telephone/fax number, credit card information, and e-mail address. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.

Exemption

Mirror-Trim makes no warranties whatsoever expressed or implied, oral or written to the buyer for: Consequential or indirect loss or damage (including loss of profit), however arising; Sums in excess of the price of the goods to which the claim relates, Any labour charges incurred by the buyer relating to the removal and refitting of the original goods or replacement goods.Except as expressly provided for in this contract and subject to the requirements of the Unfair Contract Term Acts 1977.
